Dec. 10, 2008 - Web Survey to be formally retired on March 2, 2009

If you use GlobalSCAPE Web Survey, the following change affects your live Web site.  You must act before March 2, 2009.

On June 30, 2006, sales of GlobalSCAPE Web Survey were discontinued due to an expired agreement with the original owner of the program.  Although the product was discontinued over two years ago, GlobalSCAPE in its sole discretion (and subject to change) currently intends to keep Web Survey functional through March 2, 2009.   At that time, Web Survey will be formally retired. 

As a result, the Web Survey Response Server will be taken out of service and stop processing survey responses by 9:00 A.M. (CST) on March 2, 2009.  This means that all survey responses which rely on the GlobalSCAPE Web Survey Response Server will stop being processed and delivered.  Survey responses will not be available in any form after Web Survey is retired. We urge all Web Survey users to seek out and implement a replacement solution as soon as possible.

Continued use of Web Survey during this period is subject to agreement with the following: Web Survey is not under maintenance and support, and there is no warranty (actual or implied) associated with the current functionality.  GlobalSCAPE also assumes no liability for continued use or retirement of Web Survey.

GlobalSCAPE no longer makes a Web Survey program and does not recommend a replacement.  However there are a great many solutions available, many of which are free.
